Sterling Silver Kirk Ewer 1828 Etruscan Repousse Design. An early and wonderful example of Kirk's Repousse Silver. Comparable listings with this wonderfully ornate design indicate it is called Etruscan and was created by Samuel Kirk and it later became know as Maryland silver. It is an outstanding Landscape design of classical and exotic origins, it has both oriental motif with building, willows, birds, and figures, along with classical design of what may be castle ruins and arched bridges with water flowing under the bridge and a woman figure with a basket on her head walking over it. It also abounds with flowers, fruit, and also has flowers and fruit on the base. The reeded Handle with a rams head provides a geometric contrast to the flowering lines of the graceful Ewer. This is an outstanding piece and similar to Kirk pieces that reside in museums. This delicate piece stands 11" high on the spout, 12" height on the handle. It weighs 18.6 oz. It is marked Sam Kirk the L being smaller than the other letters it is also marked 11 oz and what appears to be the Maryland seal. There is a slight unevenness on the foot, it has a monogram serpent under the spout.

Sterling Silver Charles Wright Tea Pot Ivory Handle. Charles Wright is a London Silver Maker from 1772. This is marked CW, Lion, R & Shield on the bottom of the tea pot, the lid has a mark on it. This has a monogram of a family crest, of a Dragon and a Shield. This measures just over 12" tall, spout to handle is 9". this weighs 2lbs 1.6oz. This is in good overall condition.
